Lisbon from Castle to Cathedral

On Wednesday, my second day in Lisbon, after giving up on getting my luggage anytime that morning, I decided to go ahead and get started on the serious business of being a tourist. The weather was perfect and it would have been a crime to waste it sitting around the hostel hoping my luggage would magically appear.

Exploring Madrid

Madrid is a pretty cool town but it is much bigger than I had expected. Big as in Los Angles big and just about as spead out. I used the metro a lot while I was in Madrid because many of the major sites are too far to walk. Some of the areas that I particularly liked where the Plaza Mayor, the Plaza Puerta de Sol, the Prado Museum, the Estacion Atocha, and the Palacio Real.

Glorious Paris

Paris, wow…

I have to admit that Paris is one of the few cities so far that not only lives up to its reputation but also exceeds it by a large margin. Paris is an incredible city with something new and wonderful around every corner. I was in Paris for eight days and it wasn’t nearly enough. There is so much to see there that I could have spent my entire 90 days in Paris and still not see everything.
